Philippe Villain-Guillot, PhD, CEO, co-founder

Before the founding of the innovative company Nosopharm, Philippe Villain-Guillot has gained a 5 year-experience in medicinal chemistry at Evotec (UK) and at CNRS (France). He had also worked for 1 year in the field of molecules from natural origin at CIATEJ (Mexico).

Philippe Villain-Guillot holds a PhD in antibacterial medicinal chemistry from the University of Montpellier, and a MSc from the ENSCM. He has also been trained in innovation management at EMLYON Business School, and at Grenoble Ecole de Management.

Maxime Gualtieri, PhD, CSO, co-founder

Maxime Gualtieri is a specialist of the research of novel antibiotics from microbial bioresources. His expertise covers both microbial ecology and clinical microbiology. Before the founding of Nosopharm, he has gained a robust experience in research and development at CNRS and at Selectbiotics. He has discovered and investigated novel antimicrobials with efficiency against antibiotic-multiresistant bacteria.

Maxime Gualtieri holds a PhD in microbiology from the University of Montpellier. He also graduated in business administration from IAE Montpellier.
